Enlist the support of your local outdoor advertising agency.If they don't have any "public service" (free) space, go to the local American Lung Assn, Cancer Society, or medical Clinics.

Billboard Collages
We couldn't get a billboard space in Boston, so we photographed the famous Marlboro Man billboard on the Tobin Bridge and put our own Smooth Reaper on top of it.
If you can't get a real billboard, do some Billboard Collages to show what the billboards in your area would look like if they ran your Honest-Ads.
Take pictures of the billboards in your area.
(Please don't go out into moving traffic to do this.
We took our photos during rush hour, when cars were at a stand-still.)
Scan or paste your own Honest-Ads on top of the photos.
Send your new Honest-Ad "Billboards" to the newspapers and TV Stations. (The reasons why you couldn't get a billboard space might also make an interesting story. Do the Outdoor Advertising Agenices still have some ties to the tobaco industry or their subsidiaries?){content}
