Greed And Fear

There are two deadly sides to the tobacco problem: Greed and Fear...and the kids, with their curiosity and love of experimentation, are caught and victimized somewhere in the middle.

On one hand, greedy corporate giants are willfully turning innocent children into addicted, life-time customers of their deadly tobacco products...knowingly dooming these young human beings to lives of tobacco addiction, agonizingly painful and humiliating smoking-induced illnesses, and dreadfully slow death.

On the other hand, the American public is permitting this outrage to continue. Why?

It’s fear…because for decades these same corporate giants have consciously plotted, schemed, and lied to get our businesses, educational institutions, cultural organizations, research scientists, and our elected officials dependent on their tobacco money and intimidated by their power.

Who has the courage to jeopardize their own business or funding or friends by speaking the truth?

Like a Cancer, slowly and insidiously taking over the cells of the human body, the tobacco giants, for the sake of their own power and financial gain, are willfully desecrating human life and dignity.

At the same time, a society that fails to stand up to these corporate giants is itself enabling this exploitation of children...and participating in yet another form of genocide.

THIS FEAR IS BREEDING A DISEASE MORE RUINOUS THAN THE CANCER ITSELF--

AND WE WILL ALL PAY...
